NSL Analytical Services began a long career in 1945, analyzing materials and serving the marketplace in ways most would not suspect. NSL was first known as National Spectrographic Laboratories, a manufacturer of spectrographic test equipment. Interestingly enough, customers were more interested in having their materials tested than actually purchasing the costly equipment. NSL sold the equipment business to Baird Corporation in the early 1960’s. NSL specialized in development of test methods for Titanium, Nickel, Cobalt and Beryllium. This started a pattern of outstanding customer service. Since that time NSL has added capabilities and technologies time and again to improve on meeting customer needs.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThrough a merger in 1981, NSL became a division of another company. The relationship with Rexham Inc. continued until 1993 when a management/employee investment group purchased NSL from the company, making NSL Analytical Services a privately held small business corporation.
