Extended description: Aridair portable climate control units provide an ideal solution whenever heat is needed, both for temporary and permanent installations. The control permutations allow for the rapid achievement of optimum temperatures, or the more controlled drying needed in some restoration processes. Aridair was created to manufacture, supply and service a range of portable heating products suitable for a wide variety of applications. The company was founded by father and son team Barry & Graeme Matthewson with Jerry Gibbs. Between them, they have over 50 years of experience in manufacturing and construction industries, as well as providing specialist services in the areas of fire and flood damage, restoration and pest eradication. Our aims are to provide high quality, efficient products using the very latest heating technology. Our climate control solutions can be tailor-made to match your requirements, backed up by an unrivalled support service, including technical advice and training. Aridair portable climate control systems are built into a custom trailer, which houses the heat source and heat exchanger, control equipment and storage space for pipes, manifolds etc. The trailer can easily be towed by most vehicles and is light enough to manhandle on flat surfaces. The aridair trailer is parked outside wherever hot dry air is needed and pipes led into the building. As the heat exchanger is remains outside, and can be as far away as 500 metres, there is no risk of fire or fumes inside the building. The boiler is normally fuelled by gas oil, although we can customize the system to run on biodiesel, propane or natural gas. We offer a range of boiler sizes up to 310 kilowatts and more. Hot dry air is pumped into the building through a system of hoses. The unit can also inject air directly into an existing air-conditioning or heating plenum. Inside the building, our specially developed fan coils distribute heat wherever its needed. Aridair is suitable for a wide range of applications and is simple to operate. We offer an optional remote management system ARMS (Aridair Remote Management System), which monitors the environment, automatically controls climate parameters and reports back via the Internet, radio or landline.
